Methods and Applications of Data Mining and Machine Learning for Biomedical Engineering

  • Introduction to workshop:

With the rapid development of big data technologies, methods of data mining and artificial intelligence (AI), like medical image and signal recognition, remote consultation platform, intelligent diagnosis, have been proposed and applied in biomedicine with fruitful achievement. There is no doubt that both of patients and doctors will benefit from the development of these emerging methods. In this session, we provide a platform and invite experts all around the world to share recently developed methods, to present their successful examples and to exchange their ideas of data mining and machine learning in the biomedical field. Through this session, many organizations would benefit from the presentations of AI methods and applications in various diseases such as diabetes, COPD, asthma and so on.
